Hi Edward, you are a beautiful little boy and you have a wonderful family. My son Jack was diagnosed when he was 6 & he is now nearly 12. As with your mum & dad we had never heard of it, Jack is at mainstream secondary school and still walking even though he does have a power chair but he is very stubborn and pushes himself even though he gets tired. We never dreamed he would be still on his feet so he is a miracle to us. We still struggle to come to terms with it.
